I'm also new here and I have one more question in addition to that. After customizing a product, I try clicking "Post for Sale" button, but a cross sign appears. Well, half a cross (a diagonal line in a circle). It shows up on some products, though. What do I do?

Are you trying to customize someone else's product and post that for sale? if thats the case you can't do that .. they belong to someone else .. you can only purchase them not post for sale

I customized a blank tote bag. I tried using the Guide File and making the image as big as that, but it still wont work.

You can't .. you can hide all the products (if any) and set the store to private .. if you've merged your stores it does say you can't delete any after that .. if it's still separate you could contact support and ask if they can delete it for you

@Astoria,

My Account>Account tab

look in the list of links on the left and you'll see the default royalty link, click on it to set your default - the minimum is 10%.
(you can also tick a box to set already created products to your default royalty).

Steve.

Hi
If you sell stuff you will eventually have to fill in a w-8BEN - that's to stop double taxation. There are several threads about it in the international forum. You should just need to fill in the form (don't tick the "I'm a US citizen..." box), sign it and send it back. I think you can be paid up to about $100 without it.

<-- huh?

Hello. My Zazzle experience is pleasing so far, but I seem to be having a level 1 difficulty: my icon isn't showing up. I entered it into my account a while ago, but it never registered. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Hello there,

I registred an account on zazzle.de and tried to open a new shop. Unfortunately the activation mail isn't coming. I cross-checked it 3 times and even sended myself a mail while copypasting the mail from my sazzle account (it arrived).

So I guess something is not working at the moment. Somebody can help?

just in case this happens to others! (see my message above)

The only thing you have to do, is write a message to support about the activation mail, and you get a list of options, one of them is about the activation. Click that link and the mail will come immediately.

I hope this works for others too

RE: Original Post

So, basically if we had design ideas for a brand (i.e. Barbie and what have you), that we'd have to get special permission from them? If I do get permission, how would I go about designing on Zazzle with it?

Thanks for you assistance. Happy

Sorry about the delay, Holly.

Yes, you'd have to get permission from the owner of the copyright or trademark before you could design anything featuring their property. If you get permission from them, they'll probably tell you to post something in your product description letting people know that you are designing these items with permission, and if Zazzle has issue with your design, they'll contact you for clarification.

That being said, I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for permission from most IP rights holders. There aren't many companies out there these days that appreciate fanwork or allow designs featuring their property that they don't have total control and 100% of the profits on.
