I would say try promoting your stuff through your website if you have one. I would also recommend using twitter, facebook and even tumblr-which is really good for increasing traffic to your store. Also youtube where you can feature your products and give reviews on Zazzle and Zazzle products..
Lastly I would like to say don't give up. There is no quick instant get rich with Zazzle. It will take some time and it all depends on how you market your store. I getting there myself...

Best of luck to all! Smile

Excellent writing....and I totally agree with every word. I've been here since June 2008 and OMG....it was rough for a while. Now I'm able to pay bills and just bought my own website and domain. My website consists of zazzlers' work and I love the way it's coming along. It is soooo time consuming too and I have so much more ahead of me. When you got a chance, check it out, it's called Invite Good Times. I'm promoting party invitations, cards and more. Please like it or google + it. It would mean so much to me and our fellow zazzlers. Thank you!

To CUSTOMIZABLES....Love Love Love Love Love Love Love

You ROCK.

Thanks SO much for this thread. I read through the whole thing last week. I had been working SO hard on my shops and had seen zero results and was feeling pretty low. After reading this thread and seeing that I had done lots right (and some things not so well!), I felt much more optimistic, and yesterday I got my FIRST sale ever!! Idea

To LizaFe27 - I TOTALLY know how you feel! Hang in there - that first sale is amazing! I'm still giddy about it, LOL!

To all the others offering suggestions on this thread and others, thank you SO much. As a newbie, I'm so grateful for your generosity.

Thank you for the post.

I have read it before but needed to again. I have been working on my stores for almost 2 months now and have received a sale yet. I read on the newsletter I received how one new zazzeler put a really simple saying on a shirt with no graphics and it started to sell within a week. That just discouraged me even more since I tried this and really worked on my tags & descriptions and still nothing.

I also fixed my tags & descriptions on my existing products. I continue to add new products as often as I can. Which usually is every other day or so and have been looking for inspiration. I thought I was genius when I realized I could use some photos that I had taken.

I'm very frustrated with trying to figure out the graphic programs. Even with a tutorial I had problems being able to do what they did in it and I just don't have enough time to practice on them with working outside the home and life when I get off.

Now that I have vented and brought up all these things I'm sad again. I really do want to be successful. I love the idea that I can express myself and be creative! Its just like you said I feel like I'm not any good. Anyway I will keep plugging away to find my niche so maybe one day I will be able to work from home!

A very inspiring post. I Just started here about two weeks ago. It's really tough at first to put in so much time and energy and see no immediate payoff. I just got my first sale a couple of days ago and it was really exciting--nothing since then and I still have yet to get any likes, but I'm still pushing away. Hang in there and keep believing in yourself, and people will eventually find your store! Love

Thanks so much for this post. I seem to be a very impatient person but love making things online and with photoshop. This gives me renewed hope for my store.

Stop by and visit me. I welcome any and all advice.

I just wanted to say thank you to Customizables and the other Zazzle people that have contributed to this thread. You have sound advice and it's one of my goals to get to the point where I can help out people with advice, too.
This seems like a really cool place on the web. Thanks so much!Happy
