OK ... have looked high and low and read thru a multitude of Zazzle forums, blogs, tips, tutorials ... I have NO experience w/bldg a web presence ... html talk clogs my brain. Yesterday I picked one of the website choices for my store and named it. Now I can't find it to work on. Where do I go? I tried just starting over, but the store name that I chose now says that it's unavailable. Well, the reason it's unavailable is because it's MY store name! Don't mean to whine ... just want to get started. Please help this ol' woman! Thanks!

try 'zazzle.com/your store name' - replace 'your store name' with the store name you chose when creating it. Also, look at the very top of any Zazzle page and you'll see an option to sign in, if you're already signed in you'll see your name - if you put your mouse pointer over it a drop-down will give you various options (including a link to your store(s).

Thanks Steve ... Cool! I did zazzle.com/imagine. Looks like I have a blank page to start with, at least. Doesn't look at all like I remember the sample, but oh, well. I did look at the pull down under my "Account." Clicked on 'store,' and the option looks to be to 'create a store.' I'm obviously still missing something. )o:

Hi Carol, Until you've got some products in there it will look a little bare, and you can also change the appearance to suit what you're after quite easily. The sample/preview when you choose the 'Theme' has a few products etc. in the image which gives it a little more interest. Once you've got some products in your store and started tweaking it it'll look completely different. If you go to your store settings and click on 'Apperance' then click 'Create a custom look' you can change colours and your header image etc. to customise the Theme you chose. I hope this helps,
Steve.

Click on 'Manage' to the right of your store name, on the next page click on 'Appearance' - then you can change the appearance of your store. Steve.

Hi,
I hope it's OK to post this as a reply - I didn't want to clutter the forum up with a new thread on an old topic.
I'm new to Zazzle and have created a store, but when I try to access it (either by searching for it, clicking 'visit store' in my account drop-down menu, or typing in the URL) I'm directed to the main /gifts page and a message saying my "search did not match any products"(this happens regardless of how I try to access it, whether using the search function or not). I've only created one product thus far and I can find that by going through my account menus, but the storefront doesn't seem to exist. I've read the 'new to zazzle' posts etc and done countless google searches trying to find a fix, but nothing can tell me what's gone wrong. All I'm seeing is information not pertinent to my problem.
Would really appreciate some insight if anyone can offer any, please?
Many thanks.

hey m.h. no worries restarting a thread. by chance, is your store set to private? you can find the setting here http://www.zazzle.com/my/store/settingsthere's a checkbox in there that says "make this store private" if it's checked, uncheck it and then wait 15 minutes. should show up then. if not, let us know and we'll continue digging with you. -e.

Hey, That fixed it, thank you - I didn't even realize I'd set it to private. I feel like such a simpleton. Thanks for the help. Morgan

woo hoo! good luck with your store and welcome to zazzle. definitely no need to feel anything more than new. you'll get the hang of our idiosyncrasies in no time.
you won't find a friendlier community of folks anywhere else, so please don't hesitate to post again if something else seems out of sorts.
