Watermark dilutes colors

I would appreciate it if someone from Zazzle could please look at this link and see how the watermark affects the color of images.
This link shows a good example of what I mean.

If you look at the product image first and then
switch to design view you will see a huge difference in the color.

Our thumbnails all display the image almost completely covered by the watermark and this gives customers a watered-down impression of the product.

If the watermark was made so that it didn't cover the entire image it
would still work and not washout the color over the whole image.

Anyone else notice this?

The design view is always brighter as the product view is altered to reflect the material it's printed on. I don't think it has anything to do with a watermark.

ahhhhh...I think you're right ruralfrance.
In that case, I'll have to try over-saturating a little to see if I can end up at the desired color. Thanks for your input!
