Well, I haven't added anything new to CP in months and months and thought, well, with Christmas coming, I would today. You know, maybe earn $1.70 on a tote bag or $0.50 on a button. LOL

Well, they changed their tagging system and it would not accept ANY tag I entered. Therefore, I was unable to add anything at all. It's totally messed up over there.

I have to say, without bragging, I'm pretty good at tagging my items, never had a problem with it at all.

Good luck CP...there will be NO NEW ITEMS added by anyone ever again. You have now added another crumbling block to further your demise.

Cripes!!! Why did I even bother to go there, someone shoot me now!!!!!!!!!!

That place is so heartbreaking. The forums are so sad. But you can only tell people so many times to pack up and move.

I'm happy to say that last month CP was only 5% of my POD earnings. That was my goal. April 1st can't come fast enough, then I'll never need to poke my head in over there.

Even with the holidays there is no reason to waste time there. There is plenty of sand in this playground.

Thanks for the warning! I have successfully avoided going back over there for the past few months. I hate their entire setup, buggy and frusterating. I should have never let my wife talk me into purchasing a full store over there Sad

Yeah there are a number of people over there I would love to see active over here. I think they would be much better off for it as well.

They are not allowing outgoing links anymore in forum signatures, if its not a CP link, (even if its just your personal blog etc.) it will be killed.

they killed my sig months ago there thats when i stopped going back - and at the time it linked to a CP only website i had that just linked all my CP shops together and they still killed it - thats when i left the forums

shopaholicchick has already died over there because they tried to charge me an annual fee that was not due for 6 months - so i killed it - 6500 designs - 110 products each - gone in an instant - their loss not mine i am better off without them!

It amazes me how companies are trying so hard to figure out how to get with the times and grow communities while CP had a great one which they have totally killed off.

Their forums dont depress me anymore, I find it kind of reassuring how everyone has abandoned them instead of just accepting their terrible terms...how bad would it have been if they got away with it! Plus its funny how on almost every thread on any topic people manage to sneak in subtle digs and insults in hehe!

Just wondering but is there anyone over there who still defends CP?

Well the moderators keep a lid on things although they may not necessarily agree with CP personally...basically everyone knows what the deal is though, not much left to be said at this point.
