Is there some special formula for getting a TBA. The same people get TBA's week after week and even daily !! It doesn't seem right to me. Does someone have an answer for me ??

I really don't follow TBA but one reason could be volume. If you read the comments on TBA here you might give it less importance. The comments regularly note the lack of basic quality (e.g. design doesn't fit product) for TBA picks. Most people who get a TBA report more visits but no increased sales. That has been my personal experience.

I think TBA has to do with timing... like when in the day you create your items.....

I suspect they're slipping extra bananas to the monkeys that pick them.

That's too funny! Instead of working long hours on complicated art, I should just submit a stick figure or a smiley, that has a better chance of getting TBA rewards.

I get TBAs all the time, but I don't think it has anything to do with actual sales; could be wrong since I don't have a tracker in my stores. I was getting them just about every time I posted something new when I first opened my stores, then my computer was in the shop for about 2 weeks and it stopped for a month or so; started posting new stuff regularly again and I get at least 1 per month, I stopped counting, I just take a screen print of the Z home page and file it.
And though my stuff is really darn nifty, I have to assume the picks are on some kind of timer and maybe based on other basic criteria, maybe keywords and product type or something. I have a niche shop, so if there are keywords involved I might just be the most active in those keywords. All speculation.

I'm not impressed with the stuff they pick for TBA's most of the time....I'd say monkeys pick the TBA items.

They are not monkeys. They are chimps.

Hey, if they can't tell "today's best" from "today's *" why should they expect us to tell monkeys from chimps?

Hey! To my surprise, I just got a TBA. For the first time in AGES. Good thing someone made a comment, otherwise I wouldn't have known!
It was created at 10:30PM EST, so I guess that doesn't fall in the pattern, does it?

I've noticed on FB the same person has had TBA's several times a week. This has been going on for weeks. I know of one day, she had two! I love some of her designs, but not all deserve a TBA. Just my opinion. I've had maybe 3 or 4, can't remember. It's been a long time. I don't think about it until I see her posts on FB. With all the wonderful designers on Zazzle, I think better choices could be made. The sad part of this is, it's hard to take a TBA serious anymore.

If TBA=sales then I'd take it seriously. If TBA != sales then it doesn't matter. I tend to most believe either spontaneous pats on the back, or ones that come from folks with criteria I understand.

I get at least 1 TBA once a month across my stores, it does bring traffic, but not necessarily sales. A TBA is ok, but instead of striving for a TBA, strive for a ProSeller status.
