Oh, shoot, if we go by the ages our mother's have decided we are, I am, and always be either 7 or 14, depending on the day and how much she wants to blame on me.

I have a full blown surround sound system that is fed by my television and my computer. Just last year I completed digitizing all my audio and video tapes to CD format, or straight to software. I miss having the stacks of tapes as a library of sorts, but it's also nice to have everything in one minuscule place, available at the press of a key. I am an analog man in a digital world.

I'll be 33 this month... it does seem like I jumped from 23 to 33 in a quick leap. My first born is going to be 11 next month, that sure doesn't seem right at all.

My biological age and my real age differ a lot whatever daily form I´m in. From some clues I guess I was born around the time Sag was. When I was a kid the freight still came with horse-drawn waggons, there was no wall-to-wall carpet, no central heating, television and fridges were a luxury. Fruit and veg were only available when it was the season for it, we bought it fresh on the market. The nearest thing to supermarkets was a sort of general store. We had no washing machine, and a bath consisted of filling up a large tin tub in the washhouse across the backyard. My sister who was ten years older than me was in love with Elvis and James Dean. I´ve been married 40 years next May (to the same guy), and our baby son will be 39 in January, and has two babies of his own (3 yrs and 18 mths) When I play with them laying on the floor, making teddybears and cars talk and acting silly I am about their age - this morning with the weather being cold and wet my rheumatism is having a hayday, I ache all over and I´m about 120 Most days I´m somewhere in-between My birth certificate says I´ll be 59 in February which is great, because it brings me one year nearer to retirement! Hilly

I'm old enough to know better... But, Mathematically I'm 26 but I look (and sometimes act) anywhere between 12 and 17. Sure, I should be happy (being female and whatnot) but it gets old having to explain that yes that is a real id. Yes, I really am 26.
Although, nothing beats the looks I get when I'm out with my two year old (the looks fade pretty quickly after they people find out my real age)... heh
