Yesterday, a friend of mine was left a vicious comment on one of her works on redbubble. I found out about this from a journal entry written by a good friend of mine. I added my comment and then placed a journal entry of my own and titled it, "An A**hole lurks in the bubble" and created a link to the other journal entry written by my friend. I thought I was being supportive but Im being accused of personally attacking this individual who hurt my friend. I didn't give any names, only a link to my friend's journal entry. Im so upset....irritated because Im suspended from doing any work over there. I've been a commited member on that site for almost two years and I have never got into trouble, never!! I guess maybe it could be a sign to come over here and do some work. Lots of work. Next time I will keep my mouth shut and mind my own business.

I'm sorry to hear this and I can see where you can't understand what you did wrong but, even though you didn't name names, you did post a link to the journal, thereby pointing the person out... And, in the eyes of those in charge, that is the same as naming names & attacking, and in just as bad form of the rude person because your post called the person an A**hole.

Don't be so hard on yourself. You were sticking up for a friend and that is to be commended! Just chalk it up to a learning experience and use it as a way to learn how to stick up for others in the future without anyone else viewing your actions as wrong.

Bee, do not stop supporting your friends. Just be more careful with name calling.
There was a serious incident on my own site a few months ago that nearly cause me to shut the site down. It would have been shut down for not the support I got from my friends. Name calling, threats, you name it all from a so-called trusted member. I still cringe at the thought but we learn and life goes on.

Im just so worried about being permanantly removed. My suspension ends on November 13 with a six month probation, but I won't know the verdict until it's time. I can deal with the probation, but not being canned. I don't want to lose all my work Ive worked so hard on. Ive been a good girl for so long and Ive been a secure member for almost two years now. I've never been in trouble up till now. Im scared and depressed. It's been a miserable October for me and the odds have been against me. I tipped the iceburg with what I said and now Im even more disappointed. I pray they decide to keep me.

Bee, I get in trouble when I'm feeling low sometimes. I forget how many social sites I've been banned from. Never a business site, though.
I think your odds of coming out clean are very good. First infraction on a clean record and all.
The temporary suspension is a warning to scare you straight. You would have been closed down completely if they didn't want to keep you up.
I was active on RB before I found Zazzle.
Good luck.

Thank you so much Andy for your support. I've been cleaning my house like crazy to keep my mind off of this. Im so addicted to that site.....I'm going to have withdrawals wicked bad, hee hee. I will focus on my products here at zazzle for now. I haven't designed a shoe in such a long time. Maybe tomorrow I will place some new shoes in. Thanks again for your response. I appreciate it.

Have you got an account at Fine Art America? If not, it may help you to feel better, along with Zazzle, of course.

EDIT:

I hope this doesn't get deleted *crosses fingers*

bee it hink a lot of us have experiences what you are going thru - personally i had 4 years & 10,000+ designs at cafepress only to have it pulled out from under me earlier this year...trust me it is a hard thing but there are more fish in the sea as they like to say...(and CP will be seeing a lot of them as they sink to the bottom rapidly)

I dont think you need to worry about being locked out for good. It's not too long to go now but look at it like this. With that door shut at the moment you are being drawn from your usual routine to focus and find out about other options. So when the door to Red Bubble opens back up, it will not be the only open door as you have expanded your focus.

I just can't get it out of mind. I cleaned, cleaned, and cleaned my house yesterday to get this off my mind. I am ashamed of myself because now I have given myself a bad name. I was sticking up for the ones I care about and I was shut out with the door locked. I'm having withdrawals already. That was my first sight Ive been active on since Jan 2008. I've never been in trouble, never. I had a nightmare lastnight.....can you believe that? My wallet was stolen with my identity inside. I was so stressed out over this. I found it....but everything inside was gone with a couple of bucks. So weird! I've got six more days till the verdict, hee hee. It's like Im on trial for a crime. I don't want to lose everything I've worked so hard for. I may not make lots of money, but I love what I do. Thank you so much for your response and your support. I appreciate it. You have a great day now.
