Thank you all for the congrats. I was starting to get sales every few days, but now I haven't had one since the 7th. I was kinda hoping that adding lots more products would help.

don't worry - there are always days that aren't as busy. I've been getting several sales a day for the past 2 weeks (this is my busy season typically) and then yesterday I think I only had 2 or 3.
(there are other times of the year when I go days without a sale at all - it's just that the end of April and beginning of May are my typical really busy sales time)
1000! Way to go! Yes - you should start seeing your sales in the next month or so become fairly regular. At least, that was my experience once I got a substantial amount of products.
Good luck!

Thank you for your encouragement. People always say "it takes time", but I always thought that the reason for this was because it took time to design products. Why do you suppose it is that it still takes time after products are finished? Cos they are all already available in the Zazzle Marketplace, right? Or do you get sales from other places and it takes time to advertise?

Thanks for the congrats, now I'm almost up to 1100, lol.
But I was thinking about it...is that really a significant number? I mean, over at Cafepress I have over 35,000 products because of their bulk tool. Ofcourse, I realize that they separate their t-shirt styles, 10-packs, 100-packs, etc...so really it's more like 15,000 when you take all the duplicates away. Still, that's a far cry from one single thousand. And I'm just barely getting a sale a day over there with that many products! I sure hope that I can get more sales for less products over here, cos otherwise it's just going to take forever to get to where I want to be!

I don't believe the number of products has much to do with the amount of sales. My main shop has been here for a year, and I have less than 1000 products (I don't even think my two together total 1000 products) and I have had plenty of sales.

Oh? What do you believe it is then? Promotion?
When you say plenty of sales, do you make at least one per day? Cos that's what I make over at Cafepress, and that's what I'm striving to make here. At least to start.

Congrats on passing the 1000 mark I think sales are down to a whole combination of things .. having the product choices and advertising probably being the main ones I get most of my sales from two stores .. one with lots of products and one with a few hundred ... so I don't know if its just a numbers game ... but it obviously helps to have plenty of choice for the customers .. and a range of different styles and types .. so you can be in as many categories as possible .. and the RELEVANT tags and descriptions are all important .. you want to show up in all the searches on here and search engines but advertise .. advertise .. advertise .. then advertise a bit more ( I deleted my rant about tags because I'm tired and irrational )
