Hon, the gallery stats are WAY off...I usually average around 10-20 visits a day so don't even think it's your gallery or designs and above all DON'T GIVE UP! Be patient and make sure to advertise a lot, they'll find you.

If you read about people getting lots of gallery hits, then you were probably reading the thread about it all being a bug like mousearte said. Plus hits is one thing, sales is another.
In addition to what mousearte said, if you aren't happy with your gallery traffic the answer isn't to just give up, the answer is to look into online marketing and online promotion methods. Noone exists in the online world until they tell the online world that they exist.

This is a game of patience and persistence... Many times I have thought of giving up. Many times I wonder why if I'm wasting my time. And then, someone will comment on my site or on the forum that makes me smile or laugh, or I'll get a sale even! And it will happen to you honey, it's just not gonna happen overnight. Remember, your not losing ANYTHING by keeping your gallery up except time. So please don't give up!

I think we all start out here thinking we're going to be found right away and start making those sales, the truth is there are thousands of galleries here and it is a waiting game, especially for those of us without the customer base. I only started really trying in late February and have a had a few sales and you've only been here a short while too, it does take a lot of time and patience but keep your chins up hon, it only takes that one customer to find you and it makes it all worthwhile. You may want to get your site on some of the 'Top 100' lists; try building a Squidoo lens or get your link on other lens, maybe try www.spynbuy.com too.

blessedme wrote:jst look at the advertising links on my homepage! i am doing everything but let' see i'll keep on trying thx for yr support though Those are a start which is cool but theres a *lot* more that can be done As I said in another thread, google "online marketing tips" or "online promotion tips" and be prepared to be overwhelmed. Also tack "+forum" on the end and you'll probably get thousands of threads asking "how do I promote my store?" with thousands of suggestions (actually I prefer to do +forum more because it avoids some of the scam/spam one page sites saying "sign up for instant boost in traffic" etc. or the loads of ebooks you have to pay for) Or just Google any variation on "how to promote online". Good luck.

It's ok. Stop what you're doing, take a deep breath. Everything's going to be okay.
Now, you and I have started at around the same time, give or take a couple of weeks. So you're pretty new. You've got 143 items up, which is a great start. At this point, you've basically got two choices: go out and promote like crazy, or make a ton of more products. It's all about the numbers. Either the number of links you have out there on the web, or the number of designs you have in your shop.
Have you had any sales since you've started?
Also, I'm not sure if you know this, but you can go to My Zazzle > Products, and choose to see how many people viewed your products via a dropdown menu. So just because your gallery doesn't have many hits (whic btw, currently is over 50) doesn't mean that people aren't seeing your stuff.
And since I'm eternally optimistic, here's another hopeful tidbit for you. Many people will find something they like, then bookmark it and come back a couple of times before purchasing. So you may not have gotten a sale from the visitors today, but you may have planted a seed that will turn into a sale later on.

I find myself flipping back and forth between promotion one day and making a bunch of new products the next day. That way I dont get too bored or burned out. Also don't forget, every time you make new products Zazzle sends out that new product notice email to everyone on your fan club.

You have great stuff, hang in there! No need to delete your store. My stats have been screwy as all get out as well. They will get things ironed out soon I am betting. I know it's hard sometimes when it's been awhile since a sale. I didn't have one for about the first 6 or 7 months I was here. Just keep your chin up, and have faith! Marianne

I don't bother with the hit stats for the very reason some have been getting anxious if they didn't feel they were getting enough hits. Just promote my shop as I always have done with this and my CP shops. I've got enough worries in life without worrying about stats. LOL

Sending huge hugs...dont give up. I have had one sale..and made all of .67cents .. look on it at the moment as a learning time..and a time to meet wonderful wonderful people here and something to do for fun. Keep making, advertise like mad (I still have trouble with that as I am so computer illiterate...lol) but I am trying. Listen to all the ones who offer help and are making money and most of all DONT GIVE UP HUGS

I agree with all the sentiments already posted.
Also remember - those visit stats (when they're working) only count how many people have actually visited your main gallery page. You may have had people looking at your products via the search function too.
It's hard not to feel frustrated or get down - but like everyone said - just keep going and you will find that the customers will eventually come.
Best of luck to you!

Hang in there! I sometimes feel the same way you do, but don't give up—you've got some really cute stuff in your gallery.
I've read here in the forum postings that it just takes a while. I've been promoting like crazy, but haven't really seen anything yet. After all the creating and promoting, I think it just takes time and a whole lot of patience.
And the gallery stats are definitely way off so don't trust that as a measure of anything.
Cheers!

Blessedme, oh guess what I called you blessedbe in another thread...ha ha ha.
Hmmph...look it is a sound you can spell with no vowels.
Do you like flowers? I think you should go buy yourelf some. Some big bright coloful gerbera daisies. You deserve them.
Your art is really cute.
I don't have much else to say, except someday when you are busy creating and so busy keeping up with demand, buy yourself flowers then, too...they are always nice to have around.

3 sales and less than $1? Ok, here is another bit of advice...and it's probably going to make you go o_O.
Raise your prices. Almost everyone I know (including myself) has experienced an increase in sales after doing this. I know it sounds weird, but it has to do with perceived value. If your stuff is priced cheaply, it's like telling the customer that you don't think it's worth that much, and they will receive that message. And BlessedMe, your art is worth premium prices.
You can't compete with Wal*Mart prices (not even with a 1% markup), so don't try. But the world is made up of more than just frugal buyers. Think of it this way: anyone who is willing to pay $25 for the base price of a t-shirt plus shipping charges, is probably also willing to pay $30 for the same t-shirt.
