Hi all! I need advice, and I figured you were the right people to ask. You seem to know so much about computer stuff, etc. I need to add a community forum to my Fibromyalgia website. I need something simple to set up and not horribly expensive. My website is through Homestead, so I don't know a whole lot of html (Homestead has a site maker that makes things easy). It should also be easy to use as some of the people that will be using it aren't very computer savvy, either. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks for any help you can give me! Kathy

There are some forum board networks where I think that you basically just create an account there and it automatically creates a forum with all the bells and whistles.
EzBoard and ProBoard are the most known ones.
Free forums usually aren't terribly pretty (although proboard and ezboard have free templates around to make them look better) and usually have adverts but free is free. Out of the two I've found ProBoards to be a bit better as a user. Although EzBoards has changed to Yuku so they may of improved. The Yuku site looks a lot better than EzBoards did (and better than proboards design wise).

I use one from Bravenet.com on my classic rock site. They've recently changed things so you can imbed the forum directly into your site, but I still have mine the old way. It's free and I find it very easy to use.
