Greetings Zazzlers! Nicole here from the Zazzle merchandising team.
I’m visiting the forum today to tell you all about our Valentine’s Day campaign and letting you in on what the merchandising team has in store for 2013. Keep your eye on this forum because you’ll be hearing a lot more from our team this year. We’ll be reaching out from time to time, letting you know of upcoming promotional campaigns and products we’re looking for throughout them.
Valentine’s Day will be here in the blink of an eye and the Gift Center is the hub for all things love (and a little cheeky hate too). We’ve updated our persona guides from the holidays with some great Valentine related content. Be sure to tag your new content correctly to be included in the linked search pages (check out the “see similar” links on each persona page).
To kick things off, I’ve included below some fun seasonal/holiday trends we’ve been seeing on Zazzle pages and the internet marketplace:
• Cuddle • Vintage • Zombie • Animal • Coffee • Love Birds • Bacon
Check out the Valentine’s Day page in the Gift Center if you’d like your Valentine products to be included in those search terms. The Merchandising team is always looking ahead and we’re also calling out for YOU to start creating your most unique, beautiful and totally hilarious content for St. Patrick’s day and Graduation.
Lastly, Weddings and baby are always on our radar, so with spring and summer on the horizon we’re looking forward to seeing your most creative designs popping up in Zazzle search. Keep in mind that customers are often looking for cards and postage sets when it comes to wedding and baby invitations, so including matching stamps, labels and even envelopes are a plus! Bundles are ideal for a successful shopping experience.
And finally, the sooner the better with design publishing for holidays and events, as we’re typically looking for content at least a month in advance.
Thank You Zazzlers and we can’t wait to see what you’ve got!

On this page... http://www.zazzle.com/holiday+giftsThey created these different "characters" that people might have similar interests to. If you scroll down to where it says "Shop by personality". There is list including "pun guy", "crafty gal", "yo bro", etc. Those are the personas she is referring to. On each of those "persona" pages, if you hover over each item, it shows you more options to explore... "buy this", and "see similar".

Hi bkmuir! Our "persona guides" are our gift giving pages in the gift center. Please see the below links for examples: http://www.zazzle.com/craftygalhttp://www.zazzle.com/totalprincessSo say, for example, you have created a mug with the graphics "I Heart Sewing" , it would be best for that mug to be included in "Crafty Gal" persona (on the above page link). On that persona page there is the "Sew Crafty" pod(that displays the sewing machine "I heart craft" mug). If you hover over that sewing machine image, a box appears with links that say "buy this" and "see similar", if you click on that "see similar" link, it will take you to: http://www.zazzle.com/i+heart+crafts+gifts search page. In order for your "I heart sewing" mug to be included on that page, you will need to add tags to your product that include the words "craft" and "heart". Does that make sense? Cutencomfy: Thanks for the link and the persona explanation help! Hope this clarifies for everyone.

So I have a pillow with a cat and a heart - If my Main Store category is "Animals > Pets > Cats" This will show up (on page 200+ or thereabouts - I didn't view every page of the 301 pages) on the Animal Lover pages?
or, do I have to specify something more in MY tags? (I have "pet", "cat" and more descriptive tags.

Only the yarn spools shows in the "Crafty gal" selections Both are under the store category > Art > Other Art Forms > Textile > The yarn has a keyword "crafts", the quilt does not - so I will add crafts, crafting to all of my yarn, crochet, knit items.

Hi Nicole! Thanks for the heads up! Lots of graduation invites and other graduation accessories ( http://www.zazzle.com/hhgraduation/gifts). Any promotion will be greatly appreciated!!! Some new wedding planning binders, invites and accessories ( http://www.zazzle.com/hhweddings/gifts) Both are in date order according to latest. I think by now I've missed the boat on the Valentine's Day items although I do have some (not specific to your categories, though) and regrettably, no new St. Patrick's Day items this year. Thanks again!
