I thought i would voice my annoyance at the complete lack of even a mention of St George's Day here.

They go over the top for St Patricks day here..but once again the English are forgotten..its our patron saints day yet no deals...no anything..we are not Irish..we are english and our icons should be celebrated more..hopefully next year it will get at least a mention , im fed up with it being completely ignored and its entirely up to us English to start making a noise! I rally the call!

Yes it would be nice to at least have a category where we could post a design ot two. If there is one I've yet to find it. In special days - April we have Shakespears birthday or we could file them under Hug an Australian Day on the 26th

Still we can have our own little flag waving session in here, might get some attention

OOOPS! Only just seen this thread!

There was no mention of St. George's Day on Squidoo either, even though there are several really excellent Lenses on there about St. George.

At least Google managed to put a little icon up on the day.
