Is there a way to sign and date the F W8BEN electronically?
I sent mine yesterday and they replied that "The form provided is not signed as dated."

You might be able to do it with a pen and tablet in your art software....but I printed mine off and signed it and then scanned it back in and emailed it to Zazzle.

You can write your signature and date in a blank paper, scan it, and then paste it carefully (without any background of course) on the form.
I had no printer available at the time, so I did this and everything worked fine.
