Hi all I was wondering if any of you have cashed/deposited USA checks in The Netherlands, and how to go about it. Thanks!

I'd say using paypal is the better solution in this case.

I've done it a fair amount in the UK. It's several weeks before it clears through, the bank takes a fee, and you get whatever the exchange rate is on whatever random day it actually goes through.
Whether that works out cheaper than PayPal (they take a percentage) I don't know.

Zazzle has an agreement with them due to blanket deposits. If you're ever charged a fee get in touch with support and they'll work it out for you.

Sorry guys, but there is a fee if you get paid by Paypal. Not if you are in the US though. If the payment goes to any other country that doesn't have US currency as it's currency, Paypal does charge to change it over into the needed currency. Having said that, it is cheaper to do it through Paypal than to do it through a Bank.
Jen I've had cheques through CP and payments through Paypal here.

I'm in the UK. I have a personal PayPal account which receives my Zazzle payments, I've just checked all transactions back to Sept when I started receiving money from zazzle and I have never paid a fee for receiving, exchanges or for transfering to my bank a/c.
If however you have a business PayPal a/c, then I'm sure it's possible to be paying fees. No point in one of those unless you are trading with customers outside of Zazzle and want to use your business name. A personal a/c is free and sufficient for pretty much everything anyway.
