As everything we create is placed in every Zazzle International Store it would be really helpful if Seller Accounts were completely "international" and "centralised" so we are able to see everything when I'm logged into my standard UK account.

For example, some products such as Calendars are obviously only available via the .com site. So I have to go into the US site to create one, which is fine, but it would be helpful if I could then see ALL posted products including those not available in the UK in my main account under "products". If I want to check a Calendar I just created is actually on sale (because I got no "posted" email...), I have to log out of my .uk account, into the .com site and it's a pain.

I also know that products such as these are not visible in my store for people who are shopping via the .uk site (my gift boxes used to actually show but at £0,00 - however, they are now not visible at all to uk customers...), but it's a bit annoying that they're not visible to me when I'm logged into my (UK) Seller account and looking at my own store. I like to be able to check on stuff without constantly logging in and out. Because I'm a little bit paranoidGrin

The UK site seems to be lagging quite far behind the US site. I understand you have to source the blank products for our designs to be printed on and they may not be available abroad, but even the user interface of the UK site seems much more dated than the US site.

Obviously, the biggest market is the US market, so I'd like to be able to create products specific to the US and be able to see them with all my other products without logging out/in.

I hope this makes sense...

Cheers,
Jen

Everything is printed and shipped from the US.

Why not just work on the .com site all the time instead of logging in and out?

Because then I spend half my life converting the product prices back into £ - I can never remember the equivalent in Dollars!

I will try and work logged into the US site more though as it's better to use. It would just be nicer if the UK side of things was more integrated.

If everything is printed and shipped from the US then why are a lot of products not available via the UK site? Surely it shouldn't matter if they're shipped from the US - or is it down to shipping costs?

Thanks

You could always have the UK site open in another tab just for viewing, since switching to doing all my work via .com I often go to the .co.uk version to check things out etc., but I don't actually sign in on the UK version in that case - that way I can see what the customer sees (hidden and direct only products will be invisible for instance).

Steve.

EDIT: I'm in the UK.

Yep - I've just done that and it's much better that way.

Thanks everyone.

I always work on the .com site Do NOT be tempted to to just change the suffix .com to .co.uk as products will appear to be available, inc price, when in fact they are not.
I am patiently waiting for an eu manufacturing plant, so we can have reasonable shipping costs!
Just dreaming!

Well, actually, here's what I would do if I were Zazzle (but I'm not, it's just an idea I've been having for some time):
I would ship eveything for the EU daily (or every 2 days), I don't know what the volume is, together in one big container (maybe with DHL since they are German)to a warehouse in let's say Germany if we were using DHL. From there on, every order could be shipped (without having to mind anymore about customs and taxes) to each seperate address of the customer in the EU.
Just dreaming. Smile

Wouldn't that be fantastic?

It's O.K to dream!

I always log in to the .com site because photos and prints default to inches, and as I still work in old pence, it makes more sense!
