Once upon a time there was a Hungarian woman who was living far from her country .(aka me) Living in Qatar she started to put her designs at a Californian based company's page to sell things(aka zazzle) . She got customers from remote places . The other day someone bought her necktie from New Zealand ...
Hungary in her heart , Qatar is the place where she creates , California where the idea becomes a true object and someone is enjoying it in New Zealand !Idea

I think my favorite thing about selling through Zazzle is the ability to see where my products are going. The other day I got my first international orders. One of my T shirts was sold in India and two of my postcards went to Finland. How cool is that. I may not be able to travel to other countries, but it is so cool to think that my products designed in San Antonio Texas are being worn and used across the globe!

Alma knows that my story is similar to hers.
A German girl, hopping the Globe, selling photos from Germany, Austria, Hungary, Korea, Kuwait, Dubai, Bahrain and now Egypt.

And it thrilled me to see my first orders go international and now I had my first Euro order.

Finally people get to enjoy my products "at home" too Smile

So how do you see the specifics of an order (who made it and where they're from)? I'm still a bit lost with that whole thing.

Go into My Zazzle. On the left are "Statistics" - see History. Then go to Royalty History. It's all listed there.

It is exciting to see who ordered our products and where from !It is useful as well .I learn some geography by that .I looked up the wiki for the town Tacoma today - because I got customer from there .
When I visit the Australian site then I realize that it is spring there .. and I offer happily my spring/summer designs as I remember that there is always spring/summer somewhere on the earth ...!

Thanks for the info, just had my second sale and didn't know I could see who and where had bought. Turns out someone in Canada bought a sheet of bookplate stickers and my first sale of a tie was to Georgia, USA. I agree, it's so exciting when you can see what part of the world is buying from you :-)

Great idea - I live in Cape Town, RSA and have had sales from the UK, Australia, USA and Turkey. It really makes it exciting and brings things to life when you can see where your products are going to. It's the first thing I do when selling something .... check to see where it's going to.

I Looove this thread!
When I first started on Zazzle, I began to keep track of my sales on Google Maps. It wasn't about the money..It was (and still is) about who and where my products went. I love the idea that I have products in Canada, Australia, Indonesia, Etc;..
This map actually keeps me going when sale are down. It reminds me that somewhere in the world there is a person looking for exactly what I am creating right now...
Map is here..(Google)

What a brilliant idea - I must do that myself. So far I've sold to England, Australia, America and Canada. Just got to work out Google Maps. Laughing Laughing

I have to agree, where the products I've sold have gone is so much fun to see!
Besides a number of states here in the US, my products have went to Japan, UK, Australia, Canada, Nigeria, Germany, and France. The US and UK are the two most popular places though.

Its amazing really, that my (Canadian) little artworks are finding homes in places like Australia, England, the USA and even Malta! I spent quite a little while looking up Malta the other day. One of my designs is going to go live there...I may never get to even visit! So cool!

I went to junior high and high school in Tacoma, WA!

I had started a list of the places my business cards were purchased from. The list became so long and the cards were selling so often that I had to abandon my efforts.

I think the oddest international sale I ever had was to Japan - a Japanese gentlemen purchased 80 Swedish Christmas cards. Weird.

My most favorite international sales by far are the ones that I see going to APO AE. That is the country code for US Military forces currently serving in the Iraqi theater of operations.

I create my designs in my North Carolina home and have seen them shipped to APO AE addresses, all across the states, New Zealand, Australia, Finland, and the UK...Just to name a few.
