My question is very simple. I know you can hide products on the home page but how do you hide them in sub-cat pages. What i mean is on my home page i show no products just the folders of the products, but when I click on that folder i have sub-cat folders and on that page all the products i have designed for each sub-cat shows up on that page. Is there a way to hide them also, so that when you click on the folders you only see the sub-cat folders and not the products. I want to put all the products in separate Categories. For example if you are looking for Xbox 360 skins for the 2010 you click on that folder and all those skins are in there same goes for the older version. Any help would be thankful Smile

here is my store check it out so you know what i'm talking about just click on the skins folder and see how all the products are all on that page.

If I understand you correctly NG, you need to hide each individual product if you want the category folder to remain visible.

Under "Products", go to the store category then sub-category. Each product will show up below the Category/Sub-category. Click "Actions" over each product and select "Edit". Click the "Additional Information" tab and select the "Hidden" button under "product visibility.

That is for dealing with one product at a time. You can also choose "Select All" right above the product images then "Actions" to the right of it. Do the same steps as above and it should apply your change to all selected items. Don't forget to change the number of items shown on the page so you can apply the change to as many products as possible.

Hope this helps you. Cheers!

The system works with filters. Everything will always show in the top level. When you go to a category the system filters out everything except what is in that category. When you go to a subcategory (category within a category) everything except what is in the subcategory is filtered out.
