I was wondering if I should make seperate galleries for prints, mugs, T-shirts, kids stuff, etc- do you think this would help with sales- or is my gallery ok as is? Also- if I did open another gallery would I have to re-upload all the designs?- Appreciate you feedback-thanks D

Yes, you would have to upload all of your designs again in the new gallery.

As for different galleries for different items, I haven’t' done that so I can't give you advice on it.

I have two galleries, I am not sure HOW I decide which goes in which gallery, I just know. However there are a few items I think I put in the wrong one...although I still don't know what makes one go in one gallery and one in the other.

Oh, wait, I have three galleries, there is the Pop Turtle gallery as well, but that one doesn't do much.

I know quite a few peopl ehave multiple galleries and do very well with them...I have trouble keeping up with one. Also, remember that with more than one gallery comes more advsertising for each seperate one if you want to generate sales for all of them...

Hi Derora,
I don't think you need to split your products, because they all have the same style & it's recognizable as your work. Also, you have 279 products, which is not an unmanageable amount to browse through your categories.

The reason I started splitting into more galleries is because I had certain categories that would have hundreds of products, and in the case of my holiday section... over a thousand. It would have been impossible to keep things organized that way for me. I also have one gallery with just photo designs.

If you were going to start a different style, or photos, or something like that... then I could see branching out. But right now, I think your gallery looks great!

Not that you need further telling, but I think you made the right choice. Your recent sale of 4 items came the banner you have at Best Zazzle Sites (which is how I know about the sales, as I got the referral credit). If you had divided them into different galleries it is likely the buyer would not have found more than 2 of the items. Offering a lot of items in one gallery keeps buyers focussed on just your own work, thus you get more multiple-item sales. Your style is all the same, so it makes sense to have it all in one place.

This is also a general reminder to all that these top-site-lists that a lot of us have built really do work, and folks should join as many as are appropriate. (In fact, when I get time, maybe I will go over to the promote-your-stuff forum and start a thread that gives easy links to all the top sites I can think of.)
