From This Series OF Post, I See This Has Been Going On Since August, I've Only Noticed It Recently As I Been Created A Whole New Product Line For The Holiday Season.

I Suggest That Every Keep Emailing Zazzle Support To Let Them Know This Is A Problem Of Major Concern.

Me too. I'm new to Zazzle so at first I thought I hadn't set up my store or items right.

This is disappointing. They deny that the problem exists here? No "we are aware and working to correct it" type of reassurance?

I only received an email noting one of the products being posted.

I'm certainly not making anymore products until this is fixed.

still no improvement. products are in queue for more than a week and still dont appear. my new shop is worth. while my old shop works more a less, the new shop is a mess. cant personalize.products dont show up etc...
any statement from zazzle-staff about what is going on ?

i´m willing to be patient- but i read in other posts that the problem persists since august ... !?
i can understand that at this time is lot of traffic- but they really should upgrade their system then. they should have enough money for it.

I am also having the same issues - products not posting to the store, not showing up in search results, appearing and disappearing etc.
I am launching a new store and was hoping to do major promotions for it starting Jan 1, but at this rate I'll never be ready for it.
Most of the products I created in the last 2 days are still "In Progress" and none of the products that I created this week are stable. Sometimes they show up in the store, but most of the time not.
I have made the decision to not create any more products until these issues have been sorted out. I certainly hope that it's soon!

Same problem for me. New products seem to take days to show up consistently, and even when they do, they don't necessarily show up in their category. For one of my shops, I typically make a new category each time I put up a new design. Right now I'm setting the categories as invisible until the products appear. I don't want people to click on three categories in a row and get annoyed because they're empty. Kind of gets in the way of the promotional efforts I want to do.

It's a new system rule. It can take 2 days for the new products to go live.
For me it has been averaging about four days for the new products to show up in my store. I think that the products are posted to the MP first.
I added the new products to one of my stores on Wed and they are slowing showing up in my store today.

I'm having similar problems. Products I created over the weekend didn't show up in the shop until Thursday (yesterday), and now they've disappeared!

Hoping it all gets resolved soon, whatever 'it' is.

It is not just about delays for products to show up in the stores and searches. Read the posts here and in the similar threads. The system is acting strangely. Things appear and disappear etc.

Takes time for items to appear: no problem.
Takes longer sometimes: no problem.
System has a bug? No problem. It happens. It gets fixed.

Lying to the sellers: PROBLEM.
(here and here)

No courteous admission of the problem and assurance that it is being fixed: PROBLEM

Cafe Press is looking better. I might sign on there and see.

Same pattern for me too - of "now you see the products - and now you don't see the products". You are not alone. (ps.. Cafepress is not any better I was just there) Everyone is maxed out. We just have to wait it out.

I'm sure CP is slow now too with Christmas work load and that they have bugs and site issues sometimes too.

The problem is not the slowness. The problems are inconsistent display of items and the disrespectful treatment of sellers by denying there is a problem. I'm sure Zazzle will fix the system, even though they denied (see earlier) that there is anything to fix.

Does CP lie to its sellers/designers and pretend there isn't a problem when there is and blame the seller/designer's browser or ISP? Really, I haven't used them and I want to know. (Will check their forum if any.)

I did look at their intro stuff and Z's and started here because it seemed simpler.

I agree with this. Approved then it takes days then it's there, then it vanishes. So hard to promote products that way. People email me all the time with two words - "dead link" :/

Splododyne many of use came from CP. I remember a lot of angry posts in CP forum. But they usually get erased and member banned because you don't have freedom of speech in CP forum.
The new CP rules is why most left. These rules include being charged for not making minimum balance each month, and CP taking your designs to sell on 3rd party site without your permission or markup, and only allowing 10% markup.
Check out this topic, you might learn why so many of us left CP.

Zazzle is better, even with the little glitches.

Arghh!

I just had a whole set of quick create products disappear from my "in progress" designs while I was in the process of publishing them!

Several hours of customizing right out the window.

I was actually updating one of them when I got a "error saving your product" message. When I opened another window to check my "in process" folder the product I was working on was GONE!

Kimberlyjt, I agree. I read about CP and Z before choosing to try Z first. Looks like CP is even worse than that.

Bugs and system problems happen. Z caused the problem and then blamed the victims (your browser, your ISP). That treatment of the people who make their business possible stinks. However, if they can get the system working and sell my stuff ... I'll take a bad attitude if I'm paid enough.

I'll also leave and go to another better place if there is one. Looks like, problems and all, there isn't.

I am impressed, maybe, with Z not censoring negative posts here. Looks like they don't read any of these posts so maybe they just don't know there is negative stuff about them here.

Still, all it takes to treat us designers/sellers right is "We apologize for this difficulty. We are aware of the problem and working to correct it." That would greatly reduce the amount of negative posts, bad PR for Z, that are here too.

Zazzle do read posts here (and sometimes delete them). The problem is that you got a canned response - that's the general response to just about everything, change your browser. Unfortunately it's not the right answer if they want to reach as many customers as possible.
By all means find a better place, many of us have looked and failed, so if you do, let us know! For all it's faults, Zazzle is still way above the competition.

A post here says that Zazzle said they are aware of the problem and working on it. That's an improvement. Posting a notice in this forum would better. That would prevent unnecessary contacts with customer service, bad PR for Zazzle, and frustration for designers.

RuralFrance:
"For all it's faults, Zazzle is still way above the competition." Probably right. I hope it is because Zazzle is good and not because it is just less bad than the others. I'll find out when the system is working again.

I have products that are not new, I tried to add them to my featured products, since that's what's on my front page, they won't stick! Why are they not letting me keep them on the front page? You do realize that if a customer is having trouble on your site, they won't be back, and this is the wrong time of year for new changes, just doesn't make sense at all!Crying

I dont know how put my products on my store! I have a lot and none of them appear in m store.

What am I doing wrong? Or is just a zazzle issue?

Thanks.

Daniel -
#1 - Are you creating the products with your own images/text?
If so - you use the POST FOR SALE at the bottom of the right hand column (it is in red on the create form)

#2 - if you have modified someone elses item, then you can not post it for sale.

Some of my products aren't appearing as well, way past the 24-hour time frame and after I've been contacted by e-mail saying that they were published. They appear in the "new products" when I'm in the "manage my store" option but they don't show up in the store at all.

Also, yesterday by mistake I made some products that later I deleted (products that I set to be customizable that shouldn't be, etc. etc.) but the list of products still display them in my store. For example, I made some magnets and postcards while testing the quick prduct feature that later I deleted but it still appears in my "magnets" and "postcards" section (or whatever section the magnets appear) as having 2 items. If I click the link of that section, of course no item appears because they're deleted.

I deleted all my zazzle cookies, and nothing changed. In any browser (IE, Firefox and Chrome).
