p.s. I'm not really good with computers so if you're going to explain something technological to me please do it in steps, like you're teaching a 5 year old.
Thanks.Sad

Hello.

For one, I didn't see any products under Aquamarine Angel.

I clicked on Bengal Tiger, and I saw a page full of products, but they all have white backgrounds. Try adding some background colors to your products to offer more variety, plus people want something that's not quite so plain at times. White can be very plain, depending on what it is. Use the tools on your create page to find the colors provided by Zazzle. It's to the right of your page when you're designing something. Just take a moment to play around with those tools. You can always delete the item you've practised on, then again, you may like what you see and want to sell it. Smile

Put some text on and inside your greeting cards. People want to buy cards for special events, so a birthday card with at least "Happy Birthday" and a greeting inside would work.

Make items that are customizable by way of templates. If a person saw a mousepad with text you put on it, but wanted to change it to put their name, you should make sure to have it set that way.
Here's how to do that...

You really need to stop breaking up your tag words and make some phrases. Tags are what get your products found during an internet search, and if someone types in "closeup of a bengal tiger", your item won't pop up. You have - wild, animals, africa. Make that a phrase - "wild animals of africa" so when someone types that in, your product has a better chance of showing up. If you wanted a mousepad with a palm tree and ocean waves, you wouldn't just type in "tree", would you? Be specific in shopping and in selling.

Make tag phrases by putting multiple words in quotes "like this" or by connecting with plus signs like+this.

How are you advertising? Are you using Facebook, Twitter and other online setups? Have you been passing out business cards and flyers? Have you visited the Promote section of the forum to see if someone will advertise for you? Give these a try if you haven't already.

A few other notes, but not about selling....

You really don't have to put so much detail into your description about the iPad case with the tiger. I do encourage adding more details...something more than "tiger", but just a few words about the colors of the tiger, the type of tiger...something like that will be good. Then again, I've heard that most shoppers don't read the descriptions, but descriptions can help get your products found just like tags and titles.

You should add a banner to the top of your store with the store's name in it.

Hi Sandy

First off I want to commend you on the progress you have made cleaning up your designs and utilizing some of the things others have helped you with elsewhere. However some still need work. And I think we have talked about this before. Slow down... I know you a bit now and to much information just does not connect and this has stunted your progress and sales. I feel you need to foremost get your shop coded correctly, and designs perfect. Designs, Title, Description, Tags. Work on these before doing anything else

Again many I suggest that you read these

You have come a long way but try and slow down, what I have seen at the other group is you get a ton of replies, then ask another question more replies it gets really confusing when I suggest you focus on one thing finish that then go on to another.

I know you are serious about this and that is great but you need to apply what people are freely giving you.

I have seem you given great advice with a person and they spend a lot of time with you and then you do the opposite or go to another person. Sad And I assume that is why you are here as what was given you was not what you choose to use. There is no other way Sandy its all here for the taking. And your cute stuff and its getting better all the time. And you will sell it takes time, stop worrying that others are selling I think that is hard for all of us at first.

You will get more views through searches by doing it right from the start I did not listen and boy oh boy had to go back through thousands of products and still fixing the tags and dscriptions.

This all comes from reading, looking at tags from good sellers and taking your time. I know you went with the people that said load you store down with products. And I did not agree but that is okay, there are big big sellers here that have one store and not a huge amount of things.''

Its good to get advice but there are also so many posts here that answer many of the questions, just use the search above type in your question. Valuable information.!!

So once again its up to you. I took me years to sell more than a few things a month. Don't worry about blogging, promoting all these things I see you trying , when you need to get your store together first. Then its about learning all over again..Laughing Laughing its not easy but don't beat yourself up you will get there!! Love Love

Hugs Tink
