First of all, I added a new category to my store and would like to move an existing category within my new category. Is there any easy way to do this?
Then I also am having troubles moving all my Halloween products off my front page. I checked don't show products and I thought this affected the home page only, but the products are not showing up in my categories when one clicks on them. So I turned show products back on and now my home page is full of Halloween stuff again. I don't have the know how and brains to custom code my store with CSS so is there a fix for this?
Thank you Dawn

STORE, EDIT CONTENTS, HOME PAGE CONTENT, click Don't Show Products.
You can't move categories.

You can't move categories, but you can select all the products you want to move and then click "move to".

Thank you on letting me know you can't move categories. I'll just have to do that the old fashioned way.
When I went to STORE, EDIT CONTENTS, HOME PAGE CONTENT, click Don't Show Products. This hides the products in my ENTIRE store not just on my homepage. When I click on a category my products are not showing. What am I doing wrong?

You CAN move categories. Go to category edit. You can drag and drop categories the same as products. The way it worked for me was to drag the one from the right to the left and work in that direction. They will stay where you put them. To move your Halloween category to last position do this: drag HOLIDAYS to the left of HALLOWEEN then drag MISC to the left of HALLOWEEN then drag the FAIRY to the left of HALLOWEEN. Do the same with the next category and then the last one. That will put Halloween in the last position. It may take a while for it to be set but mine did eventually stay there. Kathlen

Kathlen You can't move sub-categories into main categories or vice versa. You're talking about rearranging in the same category. MorningDew, it must be a glitch, then.
