So many good ideas here! After a few false starts, I finally finished making new folders for one of my stores. Yeah, I'm done! I think. No more new categories for me!!!!!

It was important to me to get this looking good since
1. the product list went away and
2. Featured Products are gone and the new way isn't very efficient.

Thanks, CowboyAnnie! Yes, a long time. Not sure I put my effort in the right direction, but I couldn't bear the gray folders with everything else. I'm happy now!

Love your icons! BTW, you may want to re-think your "G" ratings!

OK, now I've got my template folders disguised as the background of my shop (currently "white" 'cause I've still got so much design work to do), and most of my main categories are in place. There are a few sub-categories coming, and a LOT more designs and products, BUT I wanted to post here and see what people thought.

There are so many great artists and cool shops here; I look forward to learning from you as I finish uploading my backlog AND expand our offerings in the future.

Ok... so I finally got around to making some custom category folders.. for the main categories anyway. Grin I wish I would have done it sooner as I am rather happy with the results!

I was confused for a second, thinking you had a vertical scroll going on somehow, but it your cards look good and speak for themeselves.
BTW, your banner just makes me smile because it's so cute.

So far I've gotten my 'We Are Woman' shop updated with custom folder icons. Now I need to reorganize my 'Images By Sasha' shop and create the icons for those folders.

Mine's pretty basic, but it's better than it was before: http://www.zazzle.com/thedancingemu

If anyone has any ideas as to how I could make it look better, lemme know.

Stopped in to see these, and thought other people with old systems might be stuck like I am. Using MAC/Firefox, but my OS is too old for Flash Player 10 and I can't add new or edit my categories anymore. Tried everything else Zazzle suggested. Maybe an upgrade will arrive for Christmas...

I love your color scheme, but it might be more eye catching to have images for the category folders instead of just text, so people's eyes can be drawn to a design they like right away. You can see what I'm talking about in my store: http://www.zazzle.com/thedancingemu

First of all, thank you. I did try that but my issue at the moment is, I have so many different colors in my items and lots of them don't match the main color scheme so I end up with a gross clash of colors. For instance, I have a collection titled "Pink" and it's not a color that would go well with my bright orange and reds. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Oh and I LOVE your shop!

Well, the only thing I can think of right now would be to put a border around each folder image in the same color as the text you're using now. If you have to, you can tone down the color intensity on each thumbnail, but I'd stay away from that if I were you because it makes them less noticeable. They'll probably still clash a bit, but at least you'll have the border to tie them in with the rest of the shop.

And thanks, glad you like my shop :3
