OK - new here and am starting to accumulate products in a couple of different themes. Want to put these into product lines. I can see the button on where to start a new product line. But for the life of me I can't figure out how to get the products I have made into the new product lines. HELP ME PLEASE? ? ? ! ! !

Thanks
G

Click on the product.

Hit the link that says "Edit this."

Click the "change" link next to the words "Contributor Gallery Category."

...and you probably already know that you can assign them to an existing product line when you create new products, right?Grin

Thank you both. I was wondering what that contributor gallery button was for. And I NEVER would have figured out how to reassign it after I made it. Thanks so much for educating me ! ! !

I was thinking 'thank God' someone just asked the question that I came here to ask! BUT I still have a problem! It's hard for me to explain but if you look at my gallery you will see under Product Lines CATAGORIES.

How can I get that out and just have the product lines? I can't seem to have just the product lines without the "heading". Do you understand what I'm trying to say? Hope so, thanks in advance!

Do you mean you want to change the name of the category ? ... go to the category you want renamed .. right next to the title it has manage this product line ... click that and next to the title on the new page it has edit .. just rename it .. to make new categories just go to .. my zazzle .. gallery .. products tab ( on left ) and right where it says public products .. it has add new product line .. just give it a new name ... you need to have the categories in the product line to place the items in

graphicdoodles, your problem is that all of your categories are sub-categories of that main heading. You need to move each of your sub product lines up one level. This will involve re-asssigning the line for each individual product afterwards, so it is well for you to do it now before you add more products.

In other words, your category "Christmas" needs to be a top level category, not a second level category as it is now. So do all the others. Just delete the CATAGORIES line once it is empty, or rename it something else.

Thank you so much everyone! It was so simple! I think I kept making sub-categories because I had the category highlighted! I had to make sure nothing was selected before I could make a new product line and not a sub-category! I knew it was probably something simple! It was driving me nuts...

Thanks for your help!

The only option under contributor gallery is new products. How do you make new ones to put products into?

You have to go to My Zazzle.

Go to manage gallery.

On the left side of the screen it will say Manage Product Lines. Click this.

Click "Add New Product Line"

Don't forget that when you publish an item you need to select which Contributor Gallery and product line the item goes in during the publishing/title process for each item.

A further question to Product Lines: Is it possible from 'My Zazzle' to select multiple items to move to a product line as I've been trying to figure this out all morning. I know you can select multiple products to remove or feature, but not to change product line? Shocked I find that odd...
