Hi,
Just wondering how it's going with the new decal skins.
Do you make them? There are so many, how do you choose which to create? Do you find they are popular, do you think they could become as popular as the cases? Do you think people might buy both skins and sleeves to match?
Thanks for your opinions.

I've made one so far and it's not sold. So not much input from here.

Looks like they changed the Wii designs so the the notched part is facing down, like it should. If anyone created any, you should check to make sure your design is facing the right directing.

Has anyone made a niche store just for skins? Are you creating skins with your existing images?
The forum post about the launch is dated March 22, 2012. Do you think it might be too soon to tell if the skins are going to sell well?

I've made a few, though haven't sold anything yet. But, they seem way too expensive to me. $50 for what is basically a sticker for your X-box? Plus another $20 if you want to get a set of matching wireless controller skins. Or $30 for a laptop skin. Just seems a bit much to me. The Xbox skin costs half of what I paid for my Xbox.

I stopped deciding what a person will pay for what long time ago. Especially after someone spent $1500 for 1875 postcards of mine with a vey simple design on it . There are people out there who have more money than they know what to do with .

I'll keep making them out of anything I think will make a remotely halfway decent skin, but I can't imagine too many people would spend so much. But, on the other hand I know some people will buy ANYTHING. Heard too many stories of people buying "ghosts in a jar" or similar stuff on a certain auction site. Or buying food that looks like it had Jesus on it or something.

I created a new store for my skins, "justskinit'. I have over 400 skins in it. I am using the same designs as my other store 'nancytrippphotogifts'. It is very confusing as some have 'front and back', others 'left and right' so you have to create a skin for each. I have ended up creating at least one skin for each brand in each department. I am not sure I am doing it right, I couldn't find any instructions. No sales so far.
