Have product image links been taken down, or can I just not find them with this new layout? I like posting my product images to the forums for feedback, but I can't find the link anymore. Does anyone know where it's gone?

I still see "Link" at the end of the various like/email/facebook (etc)/link row (it however seems to have lost it's dark "button" outline) It still works.

It took a while to open the LINK/EMAIL window -- OH NO -- there is no longer any image linking area (just the HTML or e-mail links)???!!!

In experimenting, I found I could add the image if you right click on the image in the "link" window, and choose copy image, you get the MEDIUM image - change the number before JPG at the end to make smaller/larger.

I tried it also but doesn't work for me either. When choosing "copy image" in the "link" window as you've suggested, my computer gets that basic url of a product, not a .jpg url.

But thanks for the idea bkmuir, now I experimented a bit and found out that .jpg url is in HTML code, I only need to delete everything before and everythng after it to get out only that "http://rlv.zcac....58b_f0ce3_325.jpg" of an image... and then I can do everything else we do to make an image seen and clickable here in the forum.
So THANK YOU!!!! Roses Roses

Thanks for the tips. Copying the image link does seem to do the trick for now. Time to start posting again : )

Sorry, I'm still not understanding this! It seems like there are three different ways of doing this being described. @ bk muir ~ Where are you seeing "copy image"? I don't see that option. @ tashatzazzle ~ I also tried what you're suggesting but couldn't figure it out. It seems like a lot of extra work too! It should be simpler than this, I would think. I also don't see "copy image address".

Aha, I finally figured it out...my problem was that "copy image location" wasn't available in Internet Explorer. When I switched to Firefox, there it was!!! (Phew...thought I was going crazy for a minute there!)

Peggy, here is a step by step, I hope it will be understandable, if not I'll do it again. Smile

1. You are on your product page
2. (the same as we didi before) Click on the "Link..." button under the product image
3. a new little window with links opens
4. hover with your mouse over the image and click the right mouse button
5. this opens new menu where you'll find "Copy Image Address" (it's listed near to the bottom of the list)
6. click on it
7. now you go in the forum and when you do "Paste" in the comment window where you want to put the image, that image link is pasted... this link is the same as it was before on that "just image" link
8. now you do the same as we know from before... starting with selecting image url, then clicking the "Image" button above the forum writing window; then copying the link of your product and pasting it in the window that shows after clicking the "Create Link" button in the forum

Good luck Peggy (and others)! Smile

Edit: Way to go Peggy!! Roses You figured it out by yourself! And I can relate to that crazy feeling. Grin But we are so creative when Zazzle gives us challenges like this! Smile

Thanks for going to all that trouble, tashatzazzle! It looks like we posted at the same time. Anyway, I sure appreciate it.

Linking only seems to work in Firefox and not in Internet Explorer. I was just now trying to link using IE and couldn't do it.

Anyway, I'm off to sell my work at the market now...it's a gorgeous sunny day here!

There have been other postings that refer to other browsers. I think the terminology is different ( a phrase that includes URL in it somewhere) but the procedure of right clicking the image is the same.

Glad everyone is figuring this out.

Well, not quite! I've looked for other threads about other browsers and can't find any. I'd really like to be able to use Internet Explorer like I usually do. There aren't any options with anything that says 'URL' in it and I think I've tried to make it work with every option. If you come across one of these threads again, could you please let me know where it is? Or if anyone has the answer about what exactly I choose when I right click on the image in IE, please let me know. I'd appreciate it!

Try this:

Click on the link on the product page.
You will see you product image on the right,, right click on it.
A drop down menu will appear, go to the bottom and click on properties.
That will bring up the properties general page.
Go down to Address (URL) and highlight the link.

Go to the forums and post like you always did.
If you want it to show up bigger, change the image jpg number.

It's not bad this way.
Maybe they will change things back.

Thanks so much, Country! It works! A bit more fiddling around...maybe I'll just switch to Firefox afterall. I wonder why they changed it? "Properties" was probably the only option I didn't try, lol!

It worked!!!! I put together two of the explanations above. Love Love

This is my Princess Forest Cat throw pillow.

Cheers,
Marian

EDIT: I'm in Firefox and "copy image location" is not available. I used "copy image."

I just noticed that I can no longer get a link that is a picture of the design only. I really liked being able to do that. I also liked being able to link to a picture to post in blogs and so forth. Things just got more complicated for me.

The other thing that works is to extract the relevant code from where it says "Copy and paste this HTML code to your blog or website:

<div style="text-align:center;line-height:150%"> <a href="http://www.zazzle.com/green_grass_customizable_design_business_cards-240419208634020781?rf=238797353695924990"> <img src="http://rlv.zcache.com/green_grass_customizable_design_business_cards-p240419208634020781en84w_325.jpg" alt="Green Grass Customizable Design Business Cards" style="border:0;" /> </a> <br /> <a href="http://www.zazzle.com/green_grass_customizable_design_business_cards-240419208634020781?rf=238797353695924990">Green Grass Customizable Design Business Cards</a> by <a href="http://www.zazzle.com/funnaturephotography*">funnaturephotography</a> <br /> View other <a href="http://www.zazzle.com/grass+businesscards?rf=238797353695924990">Grass Business Cards</a> </div>

Then do everything that you used to do before. You can also change the size of your image by changing where it says 325.jpg.
