OK...I was just looking over the User Agreement again and it says...

"We will make available to you a small graphic image that identifies Your Site as a Program participant. You must display the image or the phrase "In association with Zazzle.com" somewhere on Your Site. We may, or may require you to, modify the text or graphic image of this notice from time to time"

OK, first, I'm assuming that "We may, or may require" is a typo and should say "We may, or may not require." That aside, I have some questions about this part of the agreement.

What about bloggers and such who use the Zazzle share button to feature products? I've been encouraging people to link to my products through Zazzle share and telling them they can earn commissions if they log in first and then link. Should I be telling them they need to add that phrase? Or if they just copy paste the code as is are they fine, since it mentions Zazzle?

And what about shopkeepers who use Zazzle star when promoting our site online? If we use Zazzle Star are we required to use phrase "In association with Zazzle.com" every time we share about a new design we make on Facebook or tell someone on a forum about our site? Can we use Zazzle star when promoting our site on banner exchanges and traffic exchanges where putting "in association with Zazzle.com" is not possible? Not to mention other places we might buy banner or text advertising, free directories, plug-boards, and all the other free advertising spots out there. Just wondering.

which user agreement? there are different ones for different types of sites.

i am looking at http://www.zazzle.com/sell/promotion/promotionbasic which is how to promote and tells you to link to your sites and i dont see on there that it says anywhere that you need that line if you link to zazzle

I found that in the associates referral agreement (under section 7):

http://www.zazzle.com/mk/policy/associates_agreement

I was searching help for something else and it pointed me towards that. But your right, they don't mention that at all in their instructions about how to promote our shops, and I can't even find a link to that agreement in their associates center.

'We may, or may require" would translate to less-legalish as "They will do it, or they will require you do it".
