Why doesn't Zazzle display its website or URL on its products automatically? I've had several people ask me where they could purchase an item I was displaying and it would make sense if Zazzle's URL was just incorporated into the item.
Thanks, Matt

Ah, personally many of us put our own stores url on certain products. There has been discussion regarding vocal customers who do not like any urls on products (which I have to agree with them) they purchase.
If you feel strongly about this by all means put your url on products yourself.
I, for one, would not like Zazzle's url on the products I designed. Just my two cents.

Sending people to the generic site can get someone a sale, but quite often not the original design creator. Naturally many designers would strongly object to Zazzle labeling more than it already does. Anyone who wants it can add it. Even better they can add the address to their shop. The design tools allow multiple images. Create an image with just the address - add, place and size as desired.

My store is on all my products and I don't want zazzle.com on it - I think the chances of a customer going to zazzle.com directly and finding that exact product is slim, therefore they would most likely purchase something similar from someone else.
In the case of small items or where the URL may be obnoxious I simply put 'by Salon of Art' which they can find via google and my website will take them to my Z stores.
I prefer it this way :-) And have many, many returning customers to prove this works :-)

If I am not mistaken when someone buys your product your shop name is on the invoice.
Not sure I understand when you say "I have had several people ask me where to buy a design I was displaying?" Wouldn't that be where they see it?
