I ordered canvas bags on April 13. My order has been "processing" ever since then. (And yes, I ordered expedited shipping, which isn't doing me any good.) I emailed a question about this per your "contact us" instructions. No answer. I talked to someone yesterday who claimed she gave me an overnight shipping upgrade.
Today the status of my order is still "processing."
I don't know what happened. I used to order from Zazzle to great satisfaction. Now you're operating like a company that's going under, and I suspect I've kissed my 75 bucks goodbye.

If they are the "budget tote", they were actually out of stock for a while which could explain the issue. With the upgraded shipping that means when they ship they will ship quickly, but they still have to be printed for you. They just came back in stock a day or so ago, so there may be a backlog with printing them. The order generally is in "processing" until they ship (which is the expedited part for you).
However, I don't know for sure. I just know they were out of stock for a while.

yah, they were out of stock for a freaky long time on the budget totes, but here's a question, since I think they were still out of stock on april 13th, does the system allow you to order an out of stock product? I mean I know on some sites you can order them and they warn you that the item is out of stock, when it is expected and and estimated shipping date, but some sites just plain won't let you order something that's out of stock... how does zazzle work that?
Of course it's possible that the other canvas totes are backlogged because the budget totes were unavailable so everyone ordered the regular or the organic...

When they are out of stock you can't order them. However, this customer may have ordered them at the time they went out of stock and it was just bad timing and then their order went on backorder. I wish Zazzle had a "on backorder" order status... it will say "processing" instead.
What can happen is a really big customer (like a hotel chain), will come in and order 5000 bags and, depending on the stock Zazzle has on hand, that will deplete the stock for anyone else. There would be a bit of time where the site wouldn't have them set as "out of stock" and someone could purchase at that time and end up in a backorder situation.
