I know we've talked about this before, but it was reinforced to me via customer requests that people just don't see the bright orange "customize it" button under the product image . If it were put over on the right hand side by the details (product size, etc) it would help greatly! I always feel bad going "Sure, you can change the (product) size, just click the bright orange button that says customize". Or even place it under the row of view options thumbnails rather than between the product view and the thumbnails? It seems to get lost squished between them. I know plenty of people do find it, but theres a percentage that doesn't that might convert to sales if it were moved .....

It's even less visible in the new design format (clothing) as its semi transparent. At least they've stopped it from disappearing altogether like it did.

I always thought it should be near the top, maybe next to the Add To Cart button.

I agree, it really needs to be more prominent. I realize that it's screaming bright orange and you really shouldn't be able to miss it, but customers ARE missing it (blame it on "ad blindness" perhaps). The eye just ignores it, maybe because all the crucial data is on the top right (price, size, etc), you don't expect that one more important function is going to be off somewhere else.
Once upon a time it used to be right beneath the "choose your style" panel (etc) on the right-hand side, why did this change? It makes sense to put "customize" there because you're already sort of customizing by choosing a different style of shirt, or size of sticker, etc.
