It would be nice to be able to zoom in on the design while you are creating it. I know you click on the magnifying glass and a larger preview opens in a pop-up, but I want to be able to zoom in and continue designing. On many of the new products the text is so small you can't see it. I'd love to create more comprehensive/detailed flyers, but it would be impossible without this option.

Yes a zoom would be very helpful for the design process. Maybe zazzle could simply change the look of the design page. The design area would be bigger if it would go over the whole page. The tools which are on the right side now could be above the image design. If zazzle don't want this they could maybe give that option extra in a new window.

Also, for some products such as stickers and stamps, the preview is actually a lot larger than it normally is... which is fine, but can be a little misleading. The ability to show 'actual size' would be nice.

I'm glad I'm not the only one to think this (both the larger design view & actual size on little items). It may be just my failing eyes...but it would cause less eye-strain (and neck & back as I hover near the screen) during creation/design tweaking time! r

I'd LOVE to see that, too. Sometimes seeing small details is so hard when tweaking a design. On occasion, I've had to post it and use the zoom in the product view to see something isn't right and go back and re-do it.

I second this... As an artist, I really would like the ability to get up close and make sure my product looks the way I want it to.

Another vote for all of the above!

I have vote for both the zoom and a MUCH larger design area! I have been thinking about this every day but didn't know where to post it (or if it had already been mentioned.) I really hate a lot of squinting I have to do while creating. I'm a perfectionist and have to have everything just right but it honestly gives me headaches. And now especially with the binders and the full view of the background layer I don't know how anyone does anything on there! And the "actual size" option would be a MASSIVE help for those of us who are trying to put our logo and web address inconspicuously on some of the products. I never really know if it will be readable or not. Thank you for starting this topic! ~Susanne

This is why I stopped using the QC tool... as small as the design area is normally, QC is even smaller.
The problem with show actual size I suppose would be that everyone's monitor is different. Depending on the size of the monitor and the resolution, what would be 5x7 inches on one person's screen wouldn't be on another.

Kris H. You actually can zoom! I found this by accident ... when you are designing your product ... push the Ctrl button and roll your mouse "wheel" upward and it will zoom for you.

But this doesn't zooms the design itself. It only zoom the browser window. The design will get blurry if zoomed in too much.

that's true, it does get blurry ... but it does help me from time to time. But it would be nice to be able to see some products close up and clearly ... but I guess for now, you can try this little trick if you really need to see your design close up.

I agree - It would also be nice to zoom in closer to the finished product like ties. The magnified tie is no bigger than the other image and is impossible to see the details. The white backs are bad enough...
