When we upload images for use on our products we have the ability to add a description which will populate the description field when we create a product. This is a great feature. It would be even greater if we could add our tags to the images and then have them automatically populate the tags field when we create a product. After all both the description and tags are based on the images used in the design. If more were needed for other elements in the design that's fine. They can be added during the creation process. I just feel this would save a lot of time when creating products.

Cheers!

I have always wondered what the 'description' for the images was for. It does not appear to 'appear' anywhere automatically. I have to say that I've pretty much ignored it after I noticed that.

I would love to know why it's there, if it is just there and no where else. Perhaps I am not using it to it's full potential since I have no idea what it's purpose is.

I love your suggestion. We would need to have a tags box and a description box and a way to click them on or off (for those who don't want it to post with the product).

I had noticed the description box for images before and tried it, but it did not add to the product so I didn't use it. It would be great if it would add descriptions and tags to the product! That would be so helpful!

I had also posted this in one of the other forums, and someone suggested adding the tags to the description area and the you can just copy and paste them into the tags field when you are creating the product. It's a good work around until Zazzle is able to add a tags field to the image details.

Cheers!

If you didn't want it to populate the description and tags in the product you could just not fill it out in the image details, or select and delete it from the product description. I just think it would be very useful when a new product comes out you wouldn't have to go searching for an old product to get the description you used previously. Some people are saying that using the same description and tags is bad for SEO. I don't know enough about that to know if that is true or not.
