When you lock an item that layer has a small padlock, which I find very helpful. It would be even more helpful if the layers you've made into template objects also could have a symbol indicating what has been done. Because now I double-check every layer so I haven't forgotten to make them template objects and a small symbol would just make it easier.

Actually, I think there should be 2 separate template identifiers, one if it's a template for design purposes only, another if it's a template that can be edited by the buyer that shows on the product page.

I would also love to be able to edit a product and make it into a template after it's already created. I have accidentally forgotten to select template so many times! I wish I could just edit instead of re-creating new products to fix it.

I'd love to see QC template items come up with the template boxes on the product page and not have to go back and re-do them in order for the boxes to show.
