How does copyright protection work with a new original design uploaded by a member?
Is it something we the members have to have in place before going live on this site to be protected?
Does this site provide or is there some other ways it works on Zazzle?

If you create an original work (photograph, painting etc.,) you automatically have the copyright to that work - you don't actually need to do anything to hold the copyright.

if you want to get govermnent copyright i recommend legalzoom com
there cheap.
