I am surprised that when I search "Hunger Games" on zazzle, nothing shows up. Nothing. I find that hard to believe. Has zazzle just refused to allow anything with the tag The Hunger Games? I understand that it might be tough to create a product that is hunger games related without violating copyright, but it must be possible. Someone could make an original artists picture of their interpretation of the games, couldn't they? I thought I saw a t shirt a while back that said Hunger is not a game, but I don't see it anymore. Any ideas? Edit - I found the shirt http://www.zazzle.com/hunger_is_not_a_game_t_shirt_tshirt-235021964425670165. I had to search "game" and not "games"

No, you will not be able to tag anything hunger games or anything to do with it (character names, etc.)

Not to be ignorant, but why not? I can understand iabout the actual design falling within the copyright issues, but wht can't you use tags?

Can't have trademarked tags either (although tags generally wouldn't fall under copyright restrictions because they're too short).
Anything "Hunger Games" related would have to be a clever parody, not using any trademarked elements (like the "Hunger is not a game" shirt.

It's like that for any trademarked thing though. I had a "My Patronus is a T-Rex" design a few years back, of which I was suddenly taken down after about 3 sales when they must have realised patronus is trademarked (I didn't realise until they took it down).

I've been wanting to make some hunger game related products. If I do I will use the tags dystopian, dystopia society, future, control, etc... And I'll make the product that's not really about the hunger games, but that relates to it.

BTW, CP has the Hunger Games rights...limited though. I was going to try my hand at designing something, but time slipped away.
