We are printing rack cards and then cutting and folding to make a square card. We wholesale these to retailers. Working very well except scoring and folding is not a 100% successful. Probably because of the inking and coating process in the digital printing, it is hard to get a 'clean' fold. Cracking makes it impossible to fold 'colours' but white isn't too bad. If anyone has a suggestion of how to score and fold these without cracking, it would be much appreciated.
Cheers

If you have a staples store nearby, there's a store brand cutter that comes with a scoring blade (apparently they don't carryy it online). It has like 5 different functions built in. There's other brands too, look for ones with changable blades and you'll need a scoring blade.
Unfortuantly thats a common issue with thick stock, the ink/paper cracks when folded. Even happens on professionally printed brochures.

My guess is you're not using enough force when scoring, if you're scoring now (and I'm not sure you are). I used to use a scoring tool I got from Michael's and rigged up a crazy wood cutting board to sit the cards in the spot I wanted them. Hoo-boy! If I had to start that nonsense up all over again, I would get a decent scoring machine, a la ebay http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw=scoring+machine&_sacat=0
