So when you click on "What's Hot"...

Are we seeing what has been viewed the most recently or are we seeing what has been selling the most recently?

From a money making stand point, I'd really like to know what people are buying rather than what they are lookin' at.

the what's hot is determined by some algorithm Zazzle has which takes several factors into consideration. But I believe they have said before that sales is the main factor.

I didn't say it was just sales - I only said that I believe Zazzle once said that that was the factor that weighed the heaviest in an algorithm that took several factors into consideration.

No hon, I understand what you're saying, I'm just stating that I personally don't see how sales can play a very large part in that algorithm if I only sold one copy of a 'What's Hot' product but did have quite a few votes on it. I have no argument with your thoughts just don't understand Zazzles alogorithm.

it might have had a lot of views. Also, I don't know if emailing it to people matters etc. There are so many possbile factors - but Zazzle never explains the specifics of their algorithms because they don't want people to exploit them.

No problem with exploitation on my part...I love watching 'Numbers' on TV but that doesn't mean I understand it Laughing

It's to complicated. I don't want to learn a lot about formulas and after all know nothing. Crying
When I came to ZZ first time a looked for the button that sorts for "most viewed", "most sold", ...
I really thought that I had to go to the optician for new eyeglasses.

"Quite natural" I thought.
But I had to learn: it isn't. Crying

Unfortunately none of these places come with instructions on how to use them but thankfully this forum and Zazzle itself is just full of people that are very patient while we learn our way around and more than willing to help out. Love
