I am finding it really difficult to use this service to sell my art designs... all I want to do is put my painting on a greeting card and offer it for sale.

I've opened a gallery http://www.zazzle.com/emberstar/home and I've created a card & saved the finished design, but how do I put the card on the gallery? I've finished the design and saved it, but I don't see a link anywhere that lets me put the card in my gallery! There is supposed to be a "Post for Sale" button somewhere, but I can't find it.

Also, I can't figure out how I will receive payment if someone buys my card. On sign up, there was no place to put a mailing address or Paypal information, or some such thing.... can someone please enlighten me?

Thanks in advance,

Emberstar.Crying

Instead of saving ... you should of just hit post for sale ... but its ok you can still do it from your saved files ... go to the product you want in the store .. there will be a customize button .. hit that ... delete the word customized off the title .. and a post for sale button will be at the bottom where the customize button was

To receive payment .. after you have one item in store you go to your " my zazzle " top right ... then earnings tab and you will see links down the left for address etc

Hi DT Designs,

Thanks so much for your reply. Well, I did what you said.... opened the page, deleted "customized" from the title, hit "ok", but there is still no "Post for Sale" button to be seen anywhere.

I feel so frustrated right now.... I even put in a request to their customer service and they did reply, but even their answer isn't working for me. I'm about ready to give up. Is this site really that hard to work with, or am I just really that stupid?

Wait... dont answer that.... Sad

Go to your "Products" tab in "My Zazzle". Find the product under either "In Progress" or "Private". Click on the product thumbnail. When the customization page opens, the "Post for Sale" button should be on the right-hand side, just below the gold "Add to Cart" button, which is below the window where you add images and text.

I use Internet Explorer, could possibly be a browser compatibility issue if your using something else.
Here is a screen shot of where the post for sale button should be.

I too had weird things (non-responsiveness) with a BROWSER that I was using.
I'm on a Mac, usually using Safari.... but Zazzle didn't work well with that.

When I launched Firefox (free Internet download), it worked great with Zazzle.

....so, I agree with the earlier post .... that it might be a Browser compatability problem. ?

Thanks for trying to help me out everyone....
Marianne.... yep that's where the button SHOULD be, except it's NOT! I've tried everything.... even logging out and trying it again to make it appear, but it just won't. I saw it briefely when I first worked on my card, but once I hit the "save" button, that "Post for Sale" button disappeared and refuses to come back.

I am now wondering if this is a browser problem.... I've been emailing back and forth with Customer Support and they can't seem to help me either, in fact they seem to be confused as to what I'm even talking about.

What's curious, is that before I saved my design, I tried some templates on it (it's one of the tabs in the creation area) but in the end opted for a plain colored border around my painting. Now, customer support is saying that it looks like I took a template from another contributor named "Spice" and I don't know how the heck I did that - I tried the templates that were in the Tab, which I assume were for people to use, otherwise why the heck would they be there..... but now I'm not even using a template Angry so it appears that Customer Support is just as confused as I am.

Aaaaagh.... so I'm just going to delete the card I created, and maybe another time I'll try this again. We'll see.

IN the meantime, thanks very much for pitching in and trying to help.

I got it now .. those template cards are not for designers to use .. they are for customers only ..they are templates other designers / artists have for sale and are only promoted there by zazzle .. thats why you can't post it for sale ...and only getting the option to save and purchase.. you can only use your own original work .. thats why the post for sale button won't work .. once you've selected a card template from that area .. even if you later remove it .. you will never get the post for sale button back on that product .. you will have to make a new one from scratch .. don't give up ... just create your card again but without going near the template selections and it will post ok

Emberstar please don't give up....
I am as stupid as they come doing this stuff and I was way confused when I came here...I wouldn't even ask questions cause I was afraid I'd have no clue what the answer meant!!! LOL

Seriously...Zazzle is very easy once you get the hang of it and it is a TON of fun...

Try another card and play around with it...you can choose to keep your gallery private until you get it looking good! Also, you can just delete the stuff you don't like and start over.

Lot's of helpful people are always checking out the forum so you have lots of help. Don't give up! I can't even make a template....so I don't go near them, but that option confused me too. Stick out tongue

Hope to see your stuff soon...

I have been on a Mac with the Safari Browser since I joined Zazzle and I never had any issues using it on Zazzle. I am running the latest version of Safari on my Mac right now. I think the Original Posters problem is that they are using someone's template and therfore cannot post that created item for sale.
