Hi everyone! One of the best places I've found for graphics to use on Zazzle is Renderosity. They have tons of stuff from 3d items to scrap-booking kits. The majority can be used commercially without a extra fee, but be sure to read the TOU. I always go to marketplace search and click on 2d products. Renderosity is a great places for resources, thanks for reminding about it, I haven't dropped in there in a while.

And always happy to shop through someone's referral link (or my own lol) when I can. Doesn't cost me anything more as a shopper, or cause me to be any less responsible for my own spending decisions, and I like knowing that it's helping both the business being referred and the person who referred it as well. Sharing the wealth in those cases isn't such a bad thing... ;)

Yes I do have an affilate ID attached to the link. Why would that be a problem for you? It is just like affilates here do with all of our products.
Renderosity has some of the best artists you can find online that offer their products for sale with the majority of them being available for commercial use. Good artwork that we can use is hard to find. I use alot of stuff that I have gotten from there and I think it is a great resource to share wether I am an affilate or not.

How is it misleading when someone gives an honest opinion of what they think of the product or service even if they do have something to gain?

I like to think people are intelligent. I can see an affiliate code there, but so what? If I like something, I'll let someone have the referral. It's not as if it's a dubious site. If anyone doesn't notice it's affiliated, then they should learn more about the internet.
You could say the same about me promoting my 'insert product here' when they have a less than ecstatic reviews.
Personally, I would use an affiliate code to promote something, but only if I thought it was a good product. I believe SweetRascal thinks it's a good product. And by the link given, SR, you should say you're an affiliate.

I get paid for sales that I promote through Zazzle. I don't say anywhere that I will benefit from those promotions. Do you think I should? Do you promote your work and disclose that?

I don't even know why it should be disclosed that it's an affiliate link, when people go and see they can judge for themselves whether they think it's worth it or not.

Zazzle is all about affiliate links. Why wouldn't they allow it on their forums? Unless the poster is a spambot posting irrelevant things, which they aren't, I don't see the problem.

If you have read the FTC rules and decided they don't apply ... oh well our business choices vary.

On a totally differently subject about these links: I have the Web of Trust (WOT) Firefox addon. When I clicked on the first link, I got a WOT warning page saying that the site is not trustworthy. When I clicked on the second link, I got the Renderosity home page, which has an excellent WOT rating. What this means, I don't know. I'm a bit of a dolt about these things. That's why I'm so grateful for WOT. I just thought that you'd like to know this, SweetRascal, for whatever it's worth.
