If an image is free for commercial use, but the owner requires attribution, how would I do that? Do I state who the owner of the image is in the description of the product? Would this suffice or do I have to actually work the name into the design (which obviously is not feasible).

I've often wondered that too but I think mentioning it in the description would be enough.

In this case the usual thing would be a mention in the description. Sometimes a link is asked for (to the creator's website for instance), but not everyone asks for this.

I've used CC products in a calendar before... I just put the credits on the back. Not possible with some products though. On a card, you could probably put a little notice on the back.

I've been a little nervous about just putting it in the description myself. Has anybody used CC images this way?
