Business cards questions, Quick Create question

I'm trying to create a business card. I selected the "make product a template" and made a separate text item for each line of the address etc. But when I publish it, the "Personalize It" area that I see on other sellers' business cards, where people can type in their info, disappears.

I've seen others mentioned making each line a template, but haven't figured out how to do that yet

The other thing I can't figure out is, where is the quick create tool? Not that I want to use it - I like to choose which items my designs go on, but I've looked all over and can't find how to access it.

I'm sure, when someone tells me how to do it, it will be a face/palm moment for me, lol.

When you fill in the information after creating the products, select "create quick create items for resale" or something like that.

When you're putting the text on your card, for each line of text you need to click on the little gearwheels symbol and "make this a template", before you post it for sale. If you don't do that, you won't get the "personalize".

The Quick create button is on your product page, right under "Public products and to the left of your store name (don't worry, I went for nearly 2 years without noticing it - not that I was looking : ) )

You can choose which items your designs go on with custom QC templates. There are tutorials for creating QC templates, the ones by Shopaholicchick are helpful IMO, I think they can be found with an internet search.
