binder image upload problem

When I upload an image for a binder, the pretty heavy file goes in in a sec and then when I try to create a product (binder) it turns out it is just a thumbnail on the binder. This makes sense given the fast upload, but does not really work. I mailed staff a couple of days ago, but have not received any reaction so far.
Any help or suggestions appreciated!
Thanks!

what size are you making your files? If you are following the template guidelines, that sounds really weird. I have had no problems with binder images. Hope it gets worked out for you!

The image sizes needed to create binders are fairly large. What size pictures are you uploading?

Thank you for your reactions!
I have sizes 7950 x 3639, which in my view is large.
So normally this also would take quite a while to upload, not just half a second.
Staff now responded I should just enlarge it, but I fear it will be lousy quality ...

That is the size that I use (7950 x 3639). When I make a binder, I do not insert the image with the pop-up box that appears initially, or else I get the thumbnail size. I cancel that box and upload the image by clicking the add image button and then I just need to hit the fill button once and everything is ok.

Thanks! I guess I finally figured out what it does: it says it has loaded the image, but it keeps loading even though the window says upload complete 100%. I will try your method of adding the image, thanks! :-)
