Hi, everyone!

I've been reading through the countless threads regarding poster sizes and all the confusion that seems to surround it. Unfortunately, in going through them I am just as confused as ever.

I have several images I've designed specifically for 18x24 and under. But when they're posted for sale, there's no 18x24 size available.

How do I make it so the posters are available at 18x24?

If I can't, do I just start over and redesign these posters according to Zazzle's standards?

Thanks. Grin

On the bottom near post for sale - choose your size & frame. When that page opens at the top choose "Auto Size". This should make your poster the size of the image you have posted - hope this works for you.

Hi!

Thanks for your help. Unfortunately, that doesn't work. All I get is a random size like 47.95x 35.96. The closest size to 18x24 I get is 20x15.

But it's okay. I just checked out Zazzle's file guidelines, so I will be redesigning the posters to fit them.

Thanks once again. Smile

if you go to the auto size and click auto size it will give you the dimensions that you poster can print based on the size and dpi...

just because you make it 18x24....does not mean thats the only size it can print in

18x24 at 300 dpi will print much larger...at 32 dpi it will not print that large it will print much smaller...

the inches size does NOT matter it is the pixel by pixel size that determines how big an image can print...because prints print in pixels not in inches

And no matter what size you make it when you post it, Zazzle will display it at whatever their "standards" are (not the same as any popular standards, despite what it says on the design page), and anyone actually wanting the size you set would still have to manually go in and edit it to that size. All the options shown will have the same ratio you set, but likely not the exact size.

There's a lot of room for improvement in the way the poster sizes are handled, but if you've read the other threads, you've likely already seen my opinion on that. xd

Aw, okay... Guess I will hold off on prints until there's a new change in the way you can make them. The way the system is set up now feels like I have no idea how the finished product will really turn out, and that makes me nervous. Sad

they will be printed the exact dimensions of the image in the size small medium large and so forth determined by the customer

it will not be skewed or smooshed - the shape will be the same - what if the customer doesnt want 18x24 what if they want it bigger for an office or smaller for a bathroom...zazzle is giving them that option
