Ok, I've already asked there but didn't get a response yet.
Maybe some wise guys here can help me out Smile

To make the gallery more user-friendly and clear I was thinking of adding categories, such as vintage, modern, photography. For that purpose the 'photo gallery module' comes in very handy. To top it off, is there a way to link the pictures with a url taking you to the corresponding store upon clicking or at least make the link below the picture opening in a new tab? Hope the attached images makes it clear.

I've tried it with this example link but it did not work:

<a href="http://www.zazzle.com/lisamarieart" target="_blank">lisamarieart</a>

Any other ideas?
thanks in advance

I'm not sure how you add your image.
It should look something like this:
<a href="http://www.zazzle.com/" target="_blank"><img src="http://rlv.zcache.com/yourimage.jpg" alt="lisamarieart" style="border:0;" /></a>
Does that help?

If you're looking for something similar to the Zazzle Photo Gallery on Squidoo, but with more versatility, try my
Photo Gallery Templates with Subtitles.

-Free to use; however, the attached attribution is required as a condition of use.
-Select your preferred images and arrange them in a linked photo gallery grid.
-Add your own linked subtitles of any length.
-All the image and subtitle links in the templates open the destination page in a new window.
-Add your own referral ID if you have one...you keep all your referral earnings.
-The templates are available with, or without, a built-in "BUY NOW" button. The "BUY NOW" text can be changed to the wording of your choice.
-The templates by default are center-aligned but can be changed to left-aligned or right-aligned to match the left or right margins of the webpage space.
-The photo gallery templates come in two sizes, regular and narrow.
-The templates are portable; they can be used on most sites besides Squidoo (but not Zazzle). For example, here's the Photo Gallery Template with Subtitles for Nu Mil 3 Design on Facebook installed on the Iwipa app for FB.

thank you both for replying.

@Anne: I gonna add your store to the Gallery when I'm at home

@NuMil3Design

Your template gets very close to what I'm trying to achieve, especially the function to open the clicked store in a new tab. Do you happen to know how to apply it to the photo gallery module which I still believe is the most economic way to keep the the site short and clear?

thanks

My templates can be used as a full replacement of Squidoo's Zazzle Photo Gallery module, and the two can't be interconnected. I developed my templates because I wasn't satisfied with the Squidoo/Zazzle offering.

My templates must be manually edited according to the instructions and examples on the Squidoo lens and then installed in a Squidoo text module.

I don't get it done :/ Your template works flawlessly but I don't know how to apply the aforementioned 'open in a new tab'-function to the photo gallery module. I've tried to extract the css/html code of the photo gallery module, copy and paste it into a text module, but it didn't quite work. maybe I pasted too much of the code?

I'm glad my template worked flawlessly. Smile

Chances are very slim that you'll get the results you want by copying some of the code for the Squidoo photo gallery module into a text module. I think you'll have to either 1.) be satisfied with the limitations of the Squidoo photo gallery module, or 2.) try something else.

If you are looking to mimic the Squidoo Zazzle Module but to make the links better, I have a Squidoo Zazzle Link Generator that will do the hard work of manually creating the links for you.

Just get the affiliate link from Zazzle, then paste it into the generator, which will show you what the result will look like in your lens and give you the code to copy/paste into a Text Module.

The link generator needs a bit of work to make the page look better, but it saves me a lot of time when creating links.

If you like it and need any changes, let me know.
