Here's what I have so far: http://www.zazzle.com/obsidianramOne thing, though ~ can someone *please* tell me how to get rid of that annoying gray navigation bar that insists on being on the sub-pages? It's the one to the upper-right that has "All Products....Default....Show" drop-down lists. Also, if anyone knows of a way to get the horizontal scrolly category icon bar on these sub-pages, that would be spiffy neato and much appreciated.

I just finished adding some of the new features to my flagship store, I love the scrolling categories. They work nice with my touchscreen. I need to go and update my other stores now with the new features and then begin really adding some cool stuff. I'm really excited about this go around, I am one of those unfortunate souls who put two years into the other guy and got my heart broke, but that's neither here nor there because today is a new day and I am Zazzle foshazzle. I am featured this month so I need to get the lead out. I have set my websites up to look good and work well with mobile devices and touchscreen. Here is my flagship Zazzle store. Here are a few others I have been working on Wondiferous.com Freakaloo.com and Taxpayertees.com. I am thinking about changing the entire niche of freakaloo, I am kind of bored with the paranormal stuff. I am no where near finished with these, they are WIPs.

Ok.. what I have so far: Just DoodlingStill tweaking and not got anything much in the way of products yet, will have to get that sorted out over the next few days. Big thank you to everyone that has taken the time to post hints/tips/tutes and similar!! Obsidianram wrote:...

There's a post here on how to get rid of that: How to get rid of the new product types dropdowneta.. actually sorry obsidianram I misread your post. If you are wanting to get rid of the scrollable categories you can in the Store > Edit Content settings. On the right of the page is some radio buttons to choose whether you want to show no categories, full categories or scrollable categories on the Homepage. And a little bit down from that you have the choice of whether to show them on other pages or not as well.

Well, I've been home for a few days sick with the flu so instead of being in bed where I belong, of course I've been doodling here on Zazzle. Updated my homepage and this is what fell out: http://www.zazzle.com/cowboyannieI don't use the Beta thing or CSS stuff because I'm a doofus and I don't know how, so this is all HTML.

Hello All Well i thought it about time to mention my customised store..also it might inspire others...which is always nice..also feel free to mail me with any questions you may have..or help you might want.. Here is a short article on my themeing my store..and why i do it. I have a basic general theme...but..from time to time I change that theme, including the main products that will appear on the main page so they match the theme. That theme will fall under 2 categories; Category one is major holidays where there is a long build up..recently haloween etc..and category two is simply random; Any random subject..recently I had a Mars week (where all the stores colours chage..link colours change and so on...) Each Theme lasts for a week or so and then reverts back to the standard theme. Why bother? Hits! If the site always looks fresh..interesing and updated then visitors do return..check out my hit rate..I now get at least 30 hits per day..and more hits are usually expected. I spend a good deal of time refreshing the site, crafting banners, updating colours and setting themes. Giving the store a unique and constantly updated profesional feel and look, I always look around other stores on the zazzle network..and also other commercial sites, including top branded sites, my personal intention is not to copy them but gather ideas and inspiration on how i might do things better in both design and layout. The quality of a webstore front and category pages, together with matching quality product designs are all designed to attract and encourage visitors confidence to make there purchases at the store. Here is my site

Are you saying that changing your storefront often leads to traffic because people come back to see what's new? Or does it have to do with seach engine positioning?

zazzle.com/thehollyleafi took images the wordpress theme on my site http://www.thehollyleaf.com and transferred it to my zazzle store. My site features the Zstore helper plugin.
