If you have a store that youve started to customize then show it off here. No matter if its just a simple background or extremely modified. Your idea's may help to inspire others or bring to light some things others didnt know was available.

Well - after seeing Bradley´s amazing stores (again he´s simply overwhelmed me, his shops always look soooo good and professional - and his art is out of this world, did I tell you he´s my hero?) I won´t bore you with my meagre efforts so far Happy

I learnt a bit about CSS while customizing my Printfection stores - but I must say it completely escapes me. I do mostly work by hit and miss (and of course here we haven´t got a Gavin who patiently corrects your mistakes Sad ).

Someone hand me the purple crayon and join my gang!

Nice!

It's funny that this possibility of having two different headers seems like a drawback, but people are already finding ways to use it as an asset. Sort of like judo.

I really bumble my way through CSS, but the tools have gotten better. Firefox can usually show you what styles are affecting the parts of the page you're interested in, and what they are - so you can figure out how to change or override them.

It's just like anything else. You do it really badly at first, then you sort of suck at it for a while, and eventually it works for you. You've just got to get through that really badly part.

If only I could! lol

I'm in awe of the work I have seen done in the stores with the new customization! Hopefully I will be adding my stores here soon!

People are posting some nice examples that make it easy to get started. You can start pretty simply, with background images and a simple sidebar, and by making those changes you learn just enough that the next steps make more sense.

Who you´re telling - I have the cool FF plugins, so that helps a lot. I shall probably open a sandbox shop next to design some really wild layout Grin Your shops have always been an inspiration - I must take the time to get more into all this CSS stuff ... Happy

Oooo! Your shops all look amazing! I can't wait to dip my fingers into this awesome new tool. I'm too busy right now, though Sad I shouldn't even be browsing the forums (lol). Keep the customized shops going and be sure to post them on the Zazzle Contributor toolbar for others to see as well!

are unbelievably helpful. Ever since the CP stuff went kasplooey and yanked me out of my hermit's cave I've been trying to assess my numerous and varied options among the different pods. Which means I've spent the last week utterly confused as to what I even wanted, never mind how to go about doing it. But I spent the day looking at your many sites and how you've woven them all together (and taking notes!) and I'm starting to get some kind of a picture as to what I might do.

I suppose it's not really surprising. Years ago when I started my CP shop your shop was one of the primary inspirations.

Oh, and your color sense is exquisite.

It is a self-feeding little empire, isn't it? I think of the different sites as hubs and funnels; the funnels are mostly also commercial, but they try to trap you into falling deeper into my clutches until you're lost in my hubs... your eyes glaze over... and you just hand me your money.

I'm not positive where my Zazzle stores fit, yet - I'm not sending them any traffic so far. At the moment they're at least an insurance policy, but they'll be growing into something more. The only thing holding them back right now is that I just can't get comfortable with the way poster and print sizes are handled.

It's nice to be remembered! I stopped posting in their forums so long ago that I think generations have come and gone who never knew me there.

So it looks like you're just getting started here but I really like the couple of things I see!
